More than 500 indigent residents from various communities in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City, have benefitted from the free medical mission organized by the Rotary Club of Parañaque Metro South (RCPMS) in partnership with PAL (Philippine Air Lines) Foundation, Inc., last November 22, 2008 at the San Antonio Gym of the said Barangay.

The medical outreach activity, spearheaded by RCPMS Real Good President Pol Casale and Past President and PAL Consultant Lawyer, Jac Cabatuando, covered the provision of free check-ups and treatments to mostly children below seven years of age.  Dr. Eli Bercasio, an RCPMS member, together with a doctor sent by PAL Foundation, led the medical team who conducted the medical checked up.

The medical mission was generously supported by One Pharma Company, Inc. who donated medicines and vitamins that were distributed free to both young and adult patients.

RGP Pol and PP Jac both commented that holding such an outreach program is a way of helping the needy and RCPMS’ response to Rotary International and District 3830’s major thrust on Child Mortality Reduction.
